skin cacnerSkin cancer is usually considered to occur in three forms which have varying degrees of effects on the body. Normally, one can observe the signs of skin cancer when exposed to sun for longer hours. The UV rays of the sun are basically responsible for the skin cancer signs on the body. One should note that they are prone to varying degrees of skin cancer based on the age, the amount of exposure to the sun and the color of the skin. There are basically three different types of skin cancer commonly found in the world.

The basal cell carcinoma and the squamous cell carcinoma are two non melanoma types of skin cancers where in one of the skin cancer signs are that they don’t spread. Hence they can also be known as the non melanoma skin cancer. A basal cell carcinoma is one which does not spread but damages the skin by invading the tissue surrounding it. The signs of skin cancer in the case of basal cell carcinoma can be observed when the skin of the body is subjected to intermittent exposures of the skin to sun. If the number of exposures is more in younger days of life, then that person is considered to be prone to basal cell carcinoma.

The skin cancer in case of basal cell carcinoma is due to intermittent exposure of the skin to sun. The signs of skin cancer in case of basal cell carcinoma generate a unique dome shaped bump on the affected part which is again covered by several blood vessels. One can observe the skin cancer signs in case of a basal cell carcinoma in regions of the body like that of chest or on the back. They appear like patches of translucent nature and generally do not spread to the other portions of the body.
