Skin Cancer is one of the common diseases in the people. Skin Cancer is a disease originated by malignant cancer cells. You can see a malignant growth at the outer layer of the skin. The sings of skin cancer can be classified into three types. These types of cancers are very common in most of the individuals.
1. Malignant melanoma
2. Basal cell carcinoma
3. Squamous cell carcinoma
It is scientifically proved that the main cause of the skin cancer is the ultraviolet rays of sun. There are two types of the ultraviolet rays come from the sun radiation. The first type is URA, which produce vitamin D and it is very good for the human health but the second type ultraviolet rays called, URB are very dangerous. URB are the main reason for the Skin Cancer. URB rays contain the Basal cell and Squamous cell carcinoma that will cause the skin cancer.
There are numerous other factors can also cause skin cancer such as the family inheritance, playing under the sun for more time in the childhood, having many birthmarks and moles. In addition to this, people who live in the areas where the ultraviolet radiation is high are more prone to the skin cancer signs.
The 10 signs of the skin cancer is the changes in appearance of the skin. Skin Cancer signs vary form individual to the individual. There will be changes in the texture and size of the skin if the person is affected with the Basal cell or Squamous cell carcinoma. The skin size and the thickness would be increased drastically in people who affected with skin cancer. Skin Cancer normally appears after the age of 21 and it can be easily detected with the ABCDE rule designed by American Academy of Dermatology.
In the ABCDE rule, the doctors will check the size and asymmetry of the skin to know whether it is affected by the skin cancer. ABCDE stands for Asymmetry, Border, Color, Diameter and Elevator. We can not jump into the conclusion that all the skin changes are due to the skin cancer but if the signs will last more than four weeks, doctors will come to a decision on the same.
