Definition of skin cancer:

Skin cancer is a malignant growth of the skin cells. This kind of cancer is of three types. They are named after the name of the cells this deadly disease affects. The three types are Basal cell cancer, squamous cell cancer and melanoma. This can be detected in the early stages unlike the other cancers. This is the most common type of cancer ahead of the cancers of lung, stomach and pancreas. This cancer is mostly caused due to over exposure to sun and melanoma is the most serious type of cancer amongst all the types. Though melanoma isn’t the most common type, it is really dangerous. This type of cancer leads to death in the rarest of the cases.

What are the signs of Skin cancer?
